Samba Bank selects Systems Limited to implement Temenos Core Banking system
September 14, 2015
Karachi – September 14, 2015: Temenos has entered into a contract with Systems Limited to execute its Core Banking Solution within the Pakistan Model Bank framework, thereby replacing Samba Bank's current legacy system across all its branches.
In addition to the Core System, the new digital solution for Samba Pakistan will incorporate Temenos-Connect Internet and Mobile Banking Platforms, along with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) capabilities. Samba Pakistan will become the ninth bank in Pakistan to adopt Temenos Transact, and notably, it will be the second bank in the country to implement the latest release of Temenos Transact, introduced in June 2015, featuring the most recent enhancements.
We are pleased to be putting our combined strengths to work, allowing Bank ABC to innovate faster using Cloud capabilities to grow their business while meeting sustainability commitments. We are thrilled to announce our collaboration with Temenos for the implementation of the T24 R15 core banking solution at SAMBA Bank Pakistan. We have full confidence that our extensive domain expertise and vast experience in the local market, spanning over 15 years in this sector, will empower us to deliver the most effective results.
